Educational Benefits of the Greatest Dot-to-Dot Puzzles

Alphabetical - Alpha Dots require connecting dots that put 3 letter words in alphabetical order. Occasionally other puzzle types will have a small section connecting the alphabet in order.

Coordinates - Compass, Coordinates and Field of Dots puzzles require connecting coordinates.

Image recognition - Arrows, Crazy Dots, Scene and Symbols connect the dots require image recognition.

Instructions - 2-4 Pages, ABC Sets, Arrows, Match-Up, Sets, Stars and Symbols dot-to-dots require attention to instructions and detail.

Lines and Points - Circuits connect straight lines starting from one dot and ending at another.

NSEW Directional - Arrows and Compass connect the dots require drawing lines using compass directionals or following arrow points.

Sequencing - ABC Sets, No Dots, Numbers, Odd/Even, Regular and Scene dot-to-dots teach to count in sequence.

Artwork Potential - The Greatest Dot to Dot books were created for older kids and adults. These puzzles were designed so the final image could not be guessed before working the puzzle. The solved puzzles leave a sketched outline to then color at the skill level of the individual. These drawings allow for detailed coloring or basic scribbling.

Monkeying Around Reproduction Permission Information

All Monkeying Around books and puzzles are protected by copyright. Users may not print, transmit or otherwise reproduce copies of the material without written permission from the author.
We do not allow entire books to be copied, as per US copyright laws. We understand that there are workbooks made for teachers to copy without limitations, but that was not the author's or publisher's intent or audience with The Greatest Dot-to-Dot Books.
Teachers, Substitutes, Home Schoolers, Aides, Physical Therapists, Senior Community Event Planners, etc. may request permission to reproduce pages from our books by filling out our Teacher's Reproduction Form. We have 18 books from which teachers may choose six pages per book, to make as many copies as need of the six pages, as often as needed.
We recommend that school teachers take the 1-800 number off the sample before copying. We have had many students calling us for instructions during class as well as prank calling us.
Permission forms must be signed by a representative of Monkeying Around to be valid. Please mail the completed form per instructions on the form or fax it to us (585-442-2965).
