BooBoo in Book 6


It was just a matter of time...

After publishing 11 error-free books, a boo-boo slipped undetected into print, in the first edition of Book 6, the latest Greatest Dot-to-Dot Super Challenge.

Author and "Perfectionist Extraordinaire," David Kalvitis, was absolutely distraught when this error was pointed out to him by an astute puzzler. It ruined his weekend. However in the spirit of fun and challenge (after all, that's what these books are all about) he has moved on, and would like to offer another challenge to YOU!

This boo-boo, of course, will be corrected with the next print run of this book. But for those of you lucky enough to obtain this first limited edition of Book 6, the author has decided we should have some fun with this situation.

The nature of the boo-boo, is quite self-explanatory when run across by the astute reader, and does not affect the overall finished puzzle. If you discover this boo-boo, David would like you to alert him. Fill out the form below with your name, address, and the boo-boo discovery.

Each month, (starting with April Fools Day and continuing until December 1, 2008) names collected will be entered in a random monthly drawing. The monthly winner, deemed "Honorary Editor", will receive an autographed set of books 1-6 of the Greatest Dot-to-Dot Books in the World. So further challenge yourself and let David know when you find his boo-boo!

 Carlo Alessandro Guidi, Italian lyric poet and dramatist (1650-1712), died from a typographical error. He translated "The Book of Homolies," a 16th century English work, into immaculate Latin. As the first copy rolled off the presses, he hastened to the Vatican to present it to Pope Clement XI. On the way he glanced at a page and was so mortified to find that the word "sine" (without) was spelled "sin" that he went home and died of the shock.
